Disclaimer about image: It may not be pretty to look at on first sight, in fact thousands of dead flies is downright disgusting, but consider then where those flies would be otherwise if they were not in the trap ... Keep filthy flys from invading indoor spaces by trapping them outside where they belong! A trap laden with dead flies is a sign of success, not of disgust. Directions: The unit should be at least 30 ft. (10 meters) away from the area that is to be protected. Pour in the powdered Ultra Biomass bait and add 1 quart (1 liter) of water. Hang at least 5 ft. (1.6 meters) off the ground in direct sunlight. Water in the trap's bait mix may evaporate over time, so it may be necessary to add water during use. Maintain a minimum water line of 3 in. (7.5 cm) in the trap at all times. The sun's natural warmth activates the bait and gets the scent airborne. Once warm in the sun, food scents drift out of the trap and into a wide area of the atmosphere. This attracts the flies. The warmer the weather, the quicker this happens. Flies Be Gone should be placed outdoors in direct sunlight - never indoors or under a roof. Trap lasts for 4-6 weeks, can capture up to 20,000 flies, and is effective within a range of 50 to 100 yards.
